October half term is Monday 26th to Friday 30th October, and our holiday camps are back on at Monkwearmouth Academy, Sunderland. Bookings are open now.
Half term camps in Sunderland: the basics
Camps run 9:30am to 2:30pm every day of half term for children aged 4 to 11 (Reception and above). It’s £15 a day. Early drop off and late pick up are available if you need to work a full day. Book one day or the whole week, whatever suits. If you need the full school term dates, Sunderland City Council has them here.
What they’ll be doing
Football, basketball, rounders, team games, crafts and plenty of time outdoors. We use the indoor sports hall when the weather turns, so camp runs whatever the North East throws at us. Every session is led by our FA qualified, DBS checked coaches, and the children are in small groups so nobody gets lost in the crowd.
Most of our campers come back holiday after holiday. Our Easter camps had over 700 bookings this year, so if you want a particular day, it’s worth booking early. We’ve been running half term camps in Sunderland since 2008, so we know what works: a proper mix of sport and games, coaches who know the kids by name, and a day that leaves them tired out in a good way.
