Football for every school year
Our weekly sessions run at Monkwearmouth Academy in Sunderland and cover every age from Reception to Year 6. Children train with others from their own school year, so nobody feels out of their depth — whether they’ve never kicked a ball or already play every day. On Fridays we run Wildcats, a girls-only session for ages 5 to 11. Every child’s first session is free, so you can come along and see if it’s right for them before paying a penny.
Who we are
North East Sport is a community interest company that has been running grassroots sport in Sunderland since 2009. More than 820 young people take part in our programmes every week. Our sessions put fun first — confidence, friendships and a love of the game matter more to us than results. Our club welfare officers are listed at the bottom of this page, and you can reach them any time.
