We are thrilled to offer our dedicated Goalkeeper Training Camp, a full day designed purely to focus on the art of goalkeeping for children aged 6-11. This is a day of intensive learning, skill-building, and fun, all under the guidance of our expert coaches.
Master Your Craft: What Your Young Keeper Will Learn
Our comprehensive one-day camp is structured to cover the core pillars of modern goalkeeping. We move beyond just stopping shots and focus on developing well-rounded, confident players. Players will work on key areas including:
- 🧤 Handling Techniques: This is the foundation of any great keeper. We’ll work on secure catching, shot-stopping techniques for different types of shots, and how to safely smother the ball to eliminate danger.
- 🙌 Diving Saves: Learning to dive safely and effectively is crucial. Our drills focus on proper technique for low, medium, and high dives, ensuring your child can cover the entire goal with confidence.
- 🧠 Positioning & Angles: A great save often starts before the shot is even taken. We teach young keepers the importance of understanding where to be and when, how to narrow the angles, and how to command their penalty area.
- ⚽️ Distribution: A goalkeeper is the first attacker! We’ll help develop great throws and powerful, accurate kicks to launch quick counter-attacks and help their team maintain possession.
