You may have noticed, if you come to our development sessions, that we are now basing a lot of our sessions on small-sided games, this is in line with the FA and is part of our club development pathway.
There are many challenges such as trying to score without using a teammate? Try to stay on the ball until you pass forward and try to get as many touches as you can whilst keeping the ball for your team.
It encourages players to master the ball and most importantly ensures that children are getting as many touches of the ball as possible.
