Our club is making a stand that we have had enough abuse towards referees. They give up their time, some are as young as 14 years old, parents supporters need to show respect. Banners will be displayed at our home ground, enough is enough!
As reported in the Daily Mirror Grassroots football is facing a refereeing crisis due to the vile abuse officials face. Some amateur leagues only have refs for 40% of games and there are fears large numbers of matches across the land will be called off as they leave the game “in droves”.

We ourselves are finding it extremely difficult to get referees for Saturday mornings and kids won’t have games if this continues. Please support us on this campaign.
