The summer holidays are just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited for another season of fun, adventure, and making unforgettable memories at our North East Sport holiday camps!
For those new to us, our multi-activity holiday programmes run throughout every school holiday (weekdays, excluding bank holidays, with potential variations at Christmas). We pride ourselves on creating a friendly and supportive environment where children can dive into a fantastic range of activities, thoughtfully designed to cater to a wide range of interests.
Our dedicated Beach Camp, a summer-only offering, provides an exciting opportunity for seaside adventures right here in Sunderland. We’re pleased to continue our partnership with Southwick Community Transport to provide a minibus service to and from local beaches. Parents can also take comfort in knowing that many of our experienced camp staff also work within local schools, providing familiar and trusted faces for the children in our care.
Introducing Sunrise & Sunset Clubs!
We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and we understand the challenges many parents face in juggling childcare and work commitments during the school holidays. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the trial launch of our brand new Sunrise (early drop-off) and Sunset (late pick-up) Clubs!
These new clubs are designed exclusively for children already booked onto one of our holiday camps for that day, whether that be our popular Beach Camp or any of our exciting football camps. We’re trialling this much-needed service over the summer holidays to provide you with greater flexibility and peace of mind.
We’ve worked hard to try and keep the costs for these new services as low as possible, as we understand the current pressures on household finances. However, to ensure the service is viable and sustainable we’ve set the following charges:
- Sunrise Club (Early Drop-Off)
- Cost: £5.00 per child per day
- Drop-off between: 08:00 – 09:00
- Includes: A delicious breakfast! Kids will even get to help make their own breakfast in a supervised and fun way.
- Sunset Club (Late Pick-Up)
- Cost: £5.00 per child per day
- Pick-up between: 14:30 – 17:30
- Please note: No snack is included for the Sunset Club. We kindly encourage you to pack a small snack for your child if they will be staying during this time.
How to Book Your Child’s Spot
To help us with staffing arrangements, bookings for these clubs will operate on a weekly basis, opening the week prior to the camp date. This specific booking window ensures we can confirm staff ratios and prepare effectively.

Please note: It may not always be possible to book your children into a session once the specific booking window has closed, as spaces and staffing are confirmed based on these deadlines. However, we will always do our best to support any requests you may have. If you do miss the booking window and need to enquire about a late booking, please don’t hesitate to reach out! As summer is a very busy time for us, our office won’t always be manned, but we’ll aim to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Our camp places are becoming very limited, and many days are already completely sold out! We strongly encourage you not to leave it too long to book your child’s spot to avoid disappointment.
