Our coaches have been fantastic and over the years we are proud to have mentored and support dozens of volunteers.
Communities Together
Over the past ten years we have brought communities together through the power of sport. Through this we have given 1000’s of young children the opportunity to play sport whatever the background or ability this is something that we are immensely proud of.
We continue to strive to make a difference, everyday.
Success
North East Sport have won multiple awards for their work in the community including Durham County FA Respect and Fair Play Award winners and recognition from the Barclays Premier League. North East Sport have also been shortlisted for the Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards in 2015.
We not bothered by awards because we do it because we love what what we do, but it is nice once in a while.

Our Programs
These are a few of our most recent programs. Each and every year, we carry out more than 100’s of programs across Sunderland and the wider North East, involving people of every age, interest and need.
Community Work
We work hard in the community working in partnership with Sunderland City Council we have done almost everything from litter picks to Christmas parties for the elderly.
Beach Camp
Beach camps have been enormously successful, rockpooling, arts, crafts, shelter building and sports all on our beautiful Northeast coastline
School Work
We provide PE in school and cover all sports we have built up a reputation of quality and reliability this has resulted in us working some school for over eight years.
Extra School Activities
Our day starts early with the delivery of our very successful breakfast clubs these are often followed by an evening class of after school activities including football, dodgeball and multi skills.
Football Teams
From small beginnings we have grown now to have over 15 football teams of all ages:
This takes a huge amount of time and effort to organize but it is all worth it when you see the smiles on the kids faces.
Volunteering Opportunities
We have engaged and helped well over one hundred volunteers in the past ten years and continue to do so. We would like to thank every single one who continue to make a difference every day.
